Full Contribution Sessions

The MATHMOD 2015 Full Contributions were arranged in groups according to their main thematic point. Since many contributions address several different aspects in a balanced manner and the contributions show very strong interdisciplinarity, the assignment was not always distinct. According to the number of contributions, the some groups have been split up into two sessions.

Minisymposium Sessions

MATHMOD Minisymposia are devoted to a specific field within the scope of the conference. Specialists in such specific fields have been offered the opportunity to compile a minisymposium with 5 to 20 contributions, inviting appropriate authors. Minisymposia organiser emphasize a special subject, which is presented in the minsymposium and which allows participants to get an overview as well as more detailed insight into the special subject of modelling and simulation. All minisymosia contributions, Minsisymposium Full Contributions and Minisymposium Discussion Contributions, have been peer reviewed within the IFAC review system. At MATHMOD 2015 17 minisymposia were organised, which cover from one session (4 to 7 contributions) up to three sessions (maximal 15 to 20 contributions).

Discussion and Student Contributions

MATHMOD 2015 came with a novelty – MATHMOD Discussion Contributions. Contributions of this type are intended for presentations of recent developments and work in progress in all areas of modelling and simulation. MATHMOD Student Contributions are intended to present results of PhD theses or similar; the (main) author must be a student. Authors of MATHMOD 2015 Discussion Papers and MATHMOD 2015 Student Papers presented their work in a poster session.
