The 9th Vienna International Conference on Mathematical Modelling (MATHMOD 2018) took place at Vienna University of Technology in February 21-23, 2018.
Approximately 300 participants attended MATHMOD 2018 to present and discuss new trends in mathematical modelling. All contributions accepted for MATHMOD 2018 went through a thorough peer review process. A total number of 234 papers were accepted for presentation at MATHMOD 2018 conference, among them 138 Full Contributions and 96 Discussion and Student Contributions. The Full Contribution papers are published at IFAC-PapersOnLine.
MATHMOD 2018 was organised and hosted by the Institute for Analysis and Scientific Computing and the Automation and Control Institute at Technische Unviversität Wien and co-sponsored by the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) and its technical committees TC 4.2 – Mechatronic Systems and TC 2.2 – Linear Control Systems.
